Through a range of events, that include support and participation from all PACCAR Australia divisions, our dealers, suppliers and other stakeholders, we aim to raise $100,000. This year PACCAR Australia and the extended network have helped to raise more than $50,000 through events such as the World Cancer Day in February and Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea in May, with Daffodil Day on Friday August 24 and Girls’ Night In in October still to come.
To help support Cancer Council to raise funds, spread awareness and ultimately help in making a difference to people’s lives, simply purchase a DAF truck in the month of August and DAF Trucks Australia will donate $250 per truck to Cancer Council.

We all know someone affected by cancer. In Australia today, there are more than 1.1 million people either living with cancer or who’ve survived a diagnosis. 1 in 2 Australian men and 1 in 3 Australian women will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85. It’s a disease that doesn’t rest, and for that very reason, neither does Cancer Council. As Australia’s peak national non-government cancer control organisation, Cancer Council’s vision is to minimise the threat of cancer to all Australians through successful prevention, best treatment and supportive care. Cancer Council funds more ground-breaking cancer research than any other non-government organisation in Australia and provides prevention programs and support services for anyone affected by cancer and advocacy. Although most Australians will enjoy a long and healthy life, it’s important to understand that cancer can affect everyone.
