Celebrations continue for DAF Trucks UK as Leyland Trucks is named winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade 2020. Last week the PACCAR company earned the prestigious award for increasing exports by almost 50% over the last three years, which includes DAF models produced for Australia.

In 2019, Leyland Trucks delivered almost 20,000 XF, CF and LF trucks while enhancing its industry-leading vehicle quality and manufacturing efficiency.

The Queen’s Award announcement comes on the back of taking the largest ever share of the UK truck market in 2019 with a 30.5% margin in the 6.0 tonne GVM and upwards market, a total of 14,814 DAF trucks.

The 2019 market share success coincides with DAF Trucks celebrating 25 straight years at the top of the sales charts in the UK.
