DAF Celebrates 90 Year Anniversary

On April 1, 1928 Hub and Wim van Doorne founded the Commanditaire Vennootschap Hub van Doorne’s Machinefabriek, a small machine factory, located in the corner of a brewery in the heart of Eindhoven. Hub turned out to be a genius inventor with a sharp eye for quality and business opportunities while Wim was a great business man. No wonder that their company expanded rapidly. Now, nine decades later, we celebrate that DAF Trucks is one of the leading truck manufacturers in the world.
