Awarded for outstanding market share performance, technical service and customer support, the award was accepted on behalf of the dealership by Paul Hurley, Dealer Principal.

Congratulating the dealership for its performance, Mr May said Brown and Hurley Yatala was again very deserving of the accolade and praised the dealership for its ongoing success with the DAF brand and its high standard of customer service.

The DAF Dealer of the Year program is structured to reward the best performing dealers within the PACCAR dealer network. The award is not about just the highest truck sales but recognises superior performance across the business including customer relationships, facilities, parts and service and finance performance in terms of market share, growth and customer support.

“Brown and Hurley Kenworth DAF Yatala has made a significant impact on the industry and winning the DAF Dealer of the Year award again for 2016 is a great reflection of their significant market share, technical service and knowledge as well as continued excellent customer support. The dealership continues to achieve sales quotas and high sales turnover for new and old customers. They exceed expectations from the customers and PACCAR Australia” said Brad.

“The branch’s facilities are among the best in the country, and they’re complemented by a team of sales, service and support professionals, also it’s important to note that their continued success due to their commitment and dedication to customers” Brad continued.

In addition, the dealership has also won the DAF Service Awards in 2011 and 2012, the PACCAR Parts Dealer of the Year award in 2009 and 2012 and the PACCAR Service Dealer of the Year in 2016.

Dealer Principal Paul Hurley said the award recognised the combined effort of all at the dealership. Mr Hurley said the dealership’s success came from a combination of highly-trained and experienced staff, a strong customer focus and quality PACCAR products.

“The DAF Dealer of the Year award belongs to everyone who works in our dealership – especially our DAF salesman, Service Manager and Parts Manager and their respective teams, who are all genuinely passionate about this premium brand,” he said.
“We also have loyal, long-term DAF customers as well as a group of new customers who have given us the opportunity to introduce DAF into their businesses. Everything we do is for our customers,” Paul explained.
“It’s an honour to win this award again and it recognises the effort of all the staff who contributed to it. They work incredibly hard to achieve the results they do in all areas of the business, and this award again commends each one of them for the effort they put in.

“While this win is another important milestone for Brown and Hurley Yatala, we will not become complacent. We think this year will be a positive year for the industry and for us and with the new products PACCAR is releasing, it is going to be a good year all round” Paul concluded.
