XF105 Customer Drive Event – Anglesea

Following on from the successful launch of the XF105 at the Melbourne Truck Show where it was awarded ‘Truck of the Show’, DAF hosted media and customers at the first of two XF105 drive events at Anglesea in April.

Over 100 attendees were given the opportunity to experience the exceptional comfort, safety and efficiency of the 510hp XF105, in both single and B-double trailer applications.

“This drive event has highlighted just how well the XF105 performs on the road. We can talk about the truck’s supreme comfort and interior space, excellent manoeuvrability and ease of operation, but you don’t get a full appreciation for these features until you get behind the wheel and drive it for yourself,” said Stephen Downes, General Manager – DAF Trucks Australia.

“We were able to actively demonstrate our intuitive driver support systems like the Lane Departure Warning System, Side-view Camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, Hill-Start aid and Down-hill brake assist,” he explained.

Various models from DAF’s LF and CF series were also on hand for the media and customers to drive at the event.

The 2nd XF105 Drive Event will be held at Mt Cotton (Qld) on the 17thand 18th May, 2012. If you wish to attend this event, please register here Places are limited, so register now to reserve your attendance at the next XF105 Drive Event.
