2012 Truck of the Show

With over 350 suppliers represented, the International Truck, Trailer and Equipment show (ITTES) is the largest show of its kind in the southern hemisphere.

The DAF XF105 was publicly launched to the Australian marketplace for the first time at the ITTES, with media, Dealer and VIP customer launch events conducted the day before the show opened. It did not take long for the world class credentials of the XF105 to be recognised…

At the ITTES Gala Awards dinner, the DAF XF105 was announced as the 2012 Truck of the Show. To win this unanimous accolade from the independent judging panel comprising media, sponsor, and association representatives, the XF105 had to impress on a number of fronts, including presentation, suitability for its intended applications, technical innovation and supporting product information.

However this award only tells part of the XF105 story. With over 2 million kms of on road testing here in Australia over the past 12 months, the XF105 has also earned a reputation for quality, comfort, safety and efficiency amongst the drivers and operators involved with the trial program.
