PACCAR MX 12.9 LITRE ENGINE

The 12.9 litre PACCAR MX engine is the powerplant of the versatile CF85 and highly acclaimed XF105. The MX engine is available in 360, 410 and 460 hp on the CF85; and 510 hp on the XF105, with impressive torque ratings ranging from 1,310 up to 1,845 lb/ft.  The MX engine meets the Euro 5 emission standard thanks to the SMART injection system and SCR technology.

The PACCAR MX engine produced for the Australian market is manufactured as standard with a Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI) cylinder head & block, titanium turbo charger rotors, steel pistons, dual fuel filters, an integrated engine brake and an advanced cooling package rated to a minimum 45º Celsius ambient temperature capability; all of which enable the PACCAR MX engine to cope with the extreme conditions of the Australian environment.  As a result, the customer benefits from enhanced reliability and up time, longevity, greater fuel economy and lower operating costs.
